De-yellowed my headlights using Meguiar’s PlastX. Worked a treat for very little work. Pics below.
Yellow and nasty:
Clean and faunceh:
Cleaned on the left, yellow on the right:
Looking pretty good for a 14 year old sports car. Body has been buffed, waxed, and coated with Nanoshock. Considering I live in Kansas and it’s been three days, I can’t believe it’s still clean and how damn SMOOTH the paint is. It’s like magic.

I de-yellowed my headlights using Bosch. One of the few perks of the E46 is clip-on lens covers for the pre-facelift models.

These look like the kind of terrible lights that blind me at night.

The inner ones are LED switchback turn signals. Not terribly bright. The main headlights are just regular halogens.

The Nexus 5 has the universes most shit camera and the white balance was compensating for my yellow-ass garage lighting and made my head lights look blue.

I’ll have to keep this in mind whenever I eventually find Mazdaspeed units at a good value.

I remember one seller trying to sell his near-mint Mazdaspeed units for about...$1,000. He got made fun of so bad I don’t think he’s reappeared since then.
That said, I’m trying to buy a good set from PartsGroup off of a light-flooded Mazdaspeed that just came in. Fingers crossed!

PS: they are.
This picture continues to serve as my benchmark to reach and surpass with my own Miata.
